Every time I open the MSN home page there is another story about the Mormon sect “polygamists”, from what’s happening to their kids to how the raid was conducted to why they dress the way they do (like decent people!). Of course since I live overseas now I have only vaguely followed the story. As far as I can tell the problem is not so much that they are engaged in polygyny, but that they are rather “overindulged’ in it. Many, many wives, young brides and old men, sisters wed at the same time? Is this a correct reading of the situation? Are there any other facets of the story that are worthy of discussion?

Big Faith 
I have been following this and the original issue is about child abuse, whether or not young girls are being forced into marriages. That is the official reason to get involved becuz like most muslim marriages, the multiple wives are not all married under the law. So they can’t really get them for bigamy becuz that would mean having two legal marriages on the books.
The second issue is whether or not the mothers were taking all necessary means to save their daughters form being married off when they are undergaed. The last issue is those you alluded to.

Actually Nazrenprincess is just telling you again what the media THINKS they know. The facts of the matter can’t be further from the truth. The Mothers are the best Mothers there are on earth, and absolutely and I mean absolutely no one, and I mean NO ONE!! is being forced into anything. Some like to say we are brainwashed so that we don’t know we are forced, all I have to say to that is, look at who is brainwashed? All the folks sitting in front of their TV and believing the crap they are force fed from the media. LOL!! TV kills, and that is the truth. Your issues you stated as well come from what you have read and heard, so, how are you supposed to know the truth, well, my friend, you have to seek it out.
